Michael Ruger

Michael is a Partner and Chief Investment Officer at Greenbush Financial Group. In his role, Michael oversees the firms investment strategy. He has extensive background in portfolio management, equity analysis, financial planning, and employer sponsored qualified plans. He holds the Certified Financial Planner®and Qualified 401(k) Adminstrator designations and is also a registered representative with American Portfolio Financial Services.  Michael obtained his Bachelors of Science in Business Economics from The State University of New York at Oneonta.

Mark Poskanzer

Vice President (2014 – 2016)


Mark is the co-founder and Director of Sales and Marketing of Troy Web Consulting, a software development firm. Troy Web Consluting combines it’s tech savvy, business acumen, and passion to build effective mobile and web applications. Mark’s main responsibilities are to direct the company’s marketing strategy and develop new business. He also plays an important role in recruiting new talent and creating a company culture that is eager to discover, learn, and adapt to new technology. Mark has served on several boards and he continues to serve as the treasurer for Junior Achievement of Northeastern New York. Mark obtained his BA in statistics from the University of Rochester and his MBA in Finance and Computer Information Systems from The University of Rochester’s Simon School of Business.

Dave Borland

Treasurer (2014 - 2016)


Dave has successfully founded and operated four businesses, and most recently merged IntelliSites - the Capital Region's largest web development firm - into Burst Marketing, a top regional marketing agency.


Having worked with over 800 clients from startups to regional powerhouses to multinational corporations, Dave has the organizational, sales, and marketing experience to know what tactics work - and which ones do not. Dave has been the keynote speaker at several marketing events, has co-hosted a radio show, and has authored over 30 different ‘how to’ manuals.  He’s led teams of marketing professionals to deliver award winning creative, and most importantly a return on investment for his clients.
